What it is

This is the ride most people mean when they talk about biking out of Xenia. The trail is paved all the way, and Yellow Springs is a good place to stop: the village sits beside Glen Helen Nature Preserve and John Bryan State Park, and the cafés and tavern on Xenia Avenue are on the rides page.

North of Yellow Springs the trail carries on to Springfield, where it ends downtown at West Jefferson Street and South Center Street and links with the Simon Kenton Trail and the Buck Creek Trail.

North of Hedges Road the trail is run by Greene County Parks & Trails. South of it, Ohio DNR runs the trail as Little Miami State Park.
