What it is

Heading northeast, the trail leaves town quickly and opens onto farmland. A short spur at Wilberforce-Switch Road goes to the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center and two universities, and Cedarville is the first full village on the line.

Past Cedarville the trail crosses into Clark County and South Charleston, where riders follow sidewalks for about half a mile, then continues to London in Madison County. This stretch is signed as the Ohio to Erie Trail, the cross-state route between Cincinnati and Cleveland.
